A discussion and presentation on Jewish émigré communities from around the globe, by artist Julian Voloj.

In honor of International Women’s Day, join us in celebrating brave women and girls everywhere with a special screening of Girl Rising, a groundbreaking feature film, released in 2013.

The screening will be followed by a Q & A with the film’s Campaign Outreach Manager, Lindsay Morris, and a reception.

Ever wanted to try your hand at calligraphy and experiment with Gothic lettering? As part of her exhibit, A la Mémoire des Enfants Déportés, artist Eleanor Winters will offer a workshop for children aged 8 and up, introducing them to calligraphic arts. Inscribe your name, or a favorite phrase, and take it home as memento. Art supplies and paper will be provided.
