An introduction to Anne’s story for students just beginning to learn about WWII and the Holocaust. Intended primarily for elementary school age, the program focuses on Anne’s time in hiding and her relationships with the seven others in hiding with her. (grades 3 – 6)
60 minutes / $90
A literacy-focus lesson exploring Anne through her own words and writing. Students visit the reflection space modeled on Anne’s bedroom and review several selections from her diary and her stories. (grades 4 – 8)
90 minutes / $120
An engaging inquiry-based discussion centered on the AFC’s permanent exhibit and the connections between Anne’s experience of intolerance and racism and discrimination our own world. Program can include a visit and oral history by a Holocaust survivor, and sharing those powerful stories. (grades 7 – 12)
90 minutes / $120
A gallery tour, followed by a 60-minute performance with an actor in the role of “Anne” and an educator. Students bring their questions to Anne! Various themes from the diary are addressed. (grades 4 – 12)
90 minutes / $250
Available for adult groups of 15 or more. A one hour program costs $5 per person.
