Sara is a staunch social justice advocate with a passion for international human rights and helping refugees.  She spent a year abroad volunteering in Tanzania and Peru, and worked at the Nigerian Healthcare Foundation, where she used expertise and research skills to bring better healthcare practices to Nigeria.  As an undergraduate at Rutgers University, from which she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Global Affairs, Sara completed an independent research project highlighting the violent political crisis plaguing Burundi.  In domestic policy, she worked for the New Jersey Legislature to research and track various bills. Her commitment to justice and social change continues with her contributions to Shatter the Looking Glass Magazine and GivingWay.  As the fight for total equality is never over, Sara continues to champion for justice through innovative research and programs at the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect.
