WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL ANNE FRANK CENTER USA COMMUNITY

Disclaimer

We believe in the power of young people to change the world.

The Anne Frank Center USA is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and empowering young people to stand against antisemitism, hatred, and injustice in all its forms through transformative programs rooted in the life and legacy of Anne Frank.

Our social media is a space for learning, reflection, dialogue, and courageous action. It is not a political forum.

We welcome everyone across backgrounds, identities, and perspectives who shares a commitment to empathy, historical understanding, and human dignity.

To remain consistent with our mission and values, we ask all community members to follow our Community Standards below.

Together, we can turn history’s lessons into action today.

Community Standards

We are committed to courageous empathy in action.

This community exists to honor Anne Frank’s legacy by fostering empathy, historical understanding, and action against intolerance. We invite honest, thoughtful dialogue, holding ourselves and our community to the following standards.

What we welcome:
  • Questions, reflections, and learning about Anne Frank, the Holocaust, and Jewish history
  • Stories of personal connection to our mission and programs
  • Constructive dialogue about antisemitism, hate, discrimination, and how we fight them
  • Expressions of solidarity, empathy, and shared humanity
  • Feedback about our programs, events, and work
What we will not allow:
  • Hate speech, antisemitism, racism, or any form of bigotry or discrimination
  • Holocaust denial, minimization, or distortion
  • Personal attacks, harassment, bullying, or threats directed at any individual or group
  • Misinformation, propaganda, or deliberately false historical claims
  • Spam, commercial solicitation, or off-topic promotional content
  • Partisan political content: endorsements of or attacks on political candidates, parties, or elected officials
  • Content that misrepresents or misattributes Anne Frank’s words or story
  • Any content that violates the safety, dignity, or privacy of children or program participants
Our moderation approach:

We are committed to maintaining this space as a welcoming, educational community. Comments and posts that violate these standards may be hidden or removed without notice. Repeat violations may result in the removal of a user from the community.

We approach moderation with the same values we bring to our programs: with empathy, care, and firmness when it matters. We do not moderate based on viewpoint. We moderate based on conduct and our community standards.

A note on nonpartisanship:

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Anne Frank Center USA does not endorse or oppose political candidates, parties, or partisan political positions. Our work addresses real, urgent issues — antisemitism, hatred, discrimination — but we address them through education, empathy, and action, not through partisan advocacy.

Comments promoting specific candidates, parties, or partisan agendas, regardless of political orientation, are outside the scope of this channel and will be removed.

How to flag a concern:

If you see content that violates these standards, please use the platform’s built-in reporting tools or contact us directly at info@annefrank.com. We are grateful for your help in keeping this community consistent with Anne Frank’s legacy.
