When Natalie Flaherty first read the diary of Anne Frank, she was struck by Anne’s hope and courage, even in the darkest moments. Inspired by Anne’s words, Natalie decided she wanted to make a difference.
“I wanted to do something to make sure we’d never forget what happened to her and to show that kids can stand up against hate.”
Natalie began sharing bracelets that say “I Stand With Anne. Put a Stop to Hate.” What started as a simple act of kindness has grown into a movement spreading her message around the world. Natalie’s story is featured in Highlights magazine, reminding us that one voice, and one act of courage, can inspire many.
