Bre Tomey
Bre Tomey is a bold and analytical actor, theater-maker and teaching artist. She has connected with artists off-Broadway, internationally, on TV, in the independent-film world, in experimental movement work, and in the classroom. Bre’s worked in New York with Park Avenue Armory, Irondale Ensemble, A.R.T./NY, The Tank, Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Theatre 80 Off-Broadway, and Playwrights Horizons, as well as performed devised work in Amsterdam, London, and Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is a proud teaching artist, passing on her love of physical acting and movement in classes at NYU Tisch and throughout the Tri-State area, while assisting with drama school auditions in her own private coaching practice. Bre lives with the genetic tissue disorder Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and hopes to continue spreading awareness and support for other zebras in the medical community. Bre has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from NYU Tisch and a Master of Arts degree from Bruford College.
